Dr Virginia Hubbard, Centre for Cutaneous Research, Institute of Cell and Molecular Science, Queen Mary
This project is an evaluative case study of students’ perceptions of online communication in a distance learning programme. Students’ perceptions of three communication methods were evaluated. The students revealed different perceptions of the communication methods. Students’ perceptions of the communication methods changed as the course progressed. Comments from the students provided informative material about the advantages and disadvantages of each communication method.
