Fellowship news

The CDE Fellows scheme is open to those within the University of London Colleges who have made a significant contribution through publication and practice to the research and pedagogy of distance education; student support; learning technology; instructional design; and teaching and learning.

There are seven CDE Fellows from six Colleges of the University of London, and five CDE Visiting Fellows drawn from external institutions and the CDE’s consultancy network.  More details of this network can be seen on our Felllowship page.



16 December 2010: 

Roger Mills receiving awardAt the recent 6th Pan Commonwealth Forum on open and distance learning (www.pcf6.com) held in Kochi, India, CDE Fellow Roger Mills was welcomed to join the Commonwealth of Learning (who run the event) as an Honorary Fellow. 

This is a network of eminent open and distance learning (ODL) professionals from across the Commonwealth, who are used as a valuable resource for consultations about COL’s future plans and for Member States seeking advice on ODL.
