Following the money – the cost benefits of student support in distance education

On Thursday 15 May weColor of Money (Howard Lebowitz) welcomed Ormond Simpson, CDE Visiting Fellow, back to Senate House to conduct a free lunchtime seminar analysing the cost benefits of student support in distance education. The seminar showed that student support need not be a pure institutional cost in distance education. If properly designed and evaluated it can actually make a financial profit for the institution as well as enhance its reputation.  Audio and presentation slides can be found below.
