CDE report on principles of good practice in distance education

This report by CDE Visiting Fellows Alan Tait, Roger Mills and David Baume provides a research-based framework of guidance on the design and operation of distance learning courses. The framework synthesises two large reviews of student learning. The report shows how the framework can be used to support the design, operation and quality assurance of distance learning courses, A separate report uses this framework to analyse some courses.
